Great product and ecosystem
Very happy with my purchase after 1 month. The device itself is well-built, and I’m happy with the Kobo store and Overdrive integration. I usually buy cheap accessories but this time bought the Kobo pen and case - these two accessories are well designed and make for a really nice final package.I would love to see a replacement for ‘Pocket’ and a more fleshed out browser in the future.

95% perfection
Great experience. Was a little surprised by some of the trade-offs of a color screen - reduced contrast and a kind of screen door effect. Kobo software is incredibly open and consumer friendly - I'm able to sync effortlessly with my calibre Web instance. It's repairable. Decent ecosystem for add ons - I like my folio case and stylus 2, the notes are useful.

Just what I wanted
I love it. It works well. The battery does seem to drain a bit quicker than i expected though, but I love the feel of it.

Great but not for klutzes!
I’m on my second one. I’m a klutz and drop lots of things (including my first one of these). Saw this was repairable so I skipped the extra insurance. However, it’s pretty much impossible to get the parts to fix it! So needless to say I spent the $30 on the extra insurance the second time around.

Best e-reader ever!
Finally, an e- reader I’m excited about! I really feel excited to read on the Kobo Libra colour. I had a Kindle for years and I just never felt excited to read on it? I always prefer preferred physical books. The ability to connect to your library card to overdrive and get library books on this is an amazing feature, and overall, I’m really loving the experience of reading on the Kobo. The size of the screen is great, and there are many options to change the screen brightness as well as the color tone of the screen. The color feature might seem like it might not matter, but it’s so nice to be able to see your book covers in color. All in all, highly recommend!

Watch out for fees! Not worth it
!!Be aware!!$50 restocking fee when returnedBased on research, I decided to get the Kobo for my wife, as opposed to the Kindle. Big mistake. The kobo store is severely limited in books offered, also, many of the books that my wife wanted to read were waitlisted at the library’s (i.e Libby app), therefore it was essentially a paperweight.

My favorite e-reader!
I adore my Kobo Libra Colour! I read on it all the time—it’s honestly become my favorite way to read. The page turn buttons are a total game-changer (so comfy!), and the color screen adds such a nice touch without being overwhelming. It’s super easy to navigate, and I love that it’s ad-free—no distractions, just reading. The lock screen shows the cover of your current read and your reading progress, which is such a nice detail. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, reader-first device, this one’s a win!
