The media could not be loaded. works really well, safer than other alternatives. These shrimp need brackish water so measuring is essential AND be sure to full dissolve before adding any livestock. This salt has a fairly quick dissolve rate. Highly recommend.

I guess it must be ocean salt then. I didn't lab test it but it certainly is salt of some kind according to my salinity meter. I needed it for healing tanks and the red clawed crab that likes brackish water. It is ground finely so it dissolves easy which is great. So far, none of the pets disagree with it so take it for what it's worth.This wasn't the most expensive one but considering I needed much less and it is salt from the ocean...it's kinda pricey in general. Some aquarium hobbyists say you can just use kosher salt for a fraction of the price but "ocean" salt is supposed to be more beneficial for the aquatics.

Good for making water for hermit crabs. I just mix a gallon jug that I refill the salt water tank from because then the math is not difficult.

My fish are alive and this stuff is easy to use. I can tell it’s legit because it’s exactly what my local fish store uses (They have a lot of healthy saltwater fish). I do mess around with the amount per gallon and I don’t use exactly what the recommend, but my salinity is always spot-on. I like the individually packed bags.
