Alion Home Outdoor Pergola Sun Shade Cover Cloth Patio Canopy HDPE Permeable with Grommets (8' x 26', Walnut)

These shades are just what I needed for my 10x12 pergolas. They provide the perfect amount of shade and I haven't felt any UV light coming through either. I got the beige color. They do come with zip ties and a few ball and hook to secure cover down. However, I bought extra ball and tie for extra protection for those windy days.

This product works for me. I have tried a number of covers for the pergola that I put together myself because I felt the manufactured products were too expensive. This cover fits my criteria as it provides the necessary shade, looks good and has a fair price. The enclosed cloth ties and fasteners keep it all in place and prevents the wind from taking it away. I did not use the zip ties.

Well made. Definitely worth the money!

Assembly was pretty easy. One of the posts was bent/dented in transit. They don't replace just post. Had to reorder whole thing, used one post from new shipment & swapped out the post, then had to ship it back. Decent pergola for the price. The cloth that lays over the top, not real sturdy - wind has already torn it. And cloth cover comes with flimsy poles (junk). I threw all that out and bought a sturdy 10x10 tarp to put on top. Put the four posts into concrete.. so know I think it's pretty good, but required some home modifications.

Good quality. Exactly as advertised. I ordered two items from Alion Home company on separate days. And both arrived in the same package and earlier than expected!

I have an aluminum big box store pergola that came with a canopy that did not allow enough wind through. We live in an area that gets some wicked storms and some serious wind randomly throughout the spring and fall seasons. If I hadn't removed the provided canopy, it would have caused the entire darn pergola to blow away. I contemplated screwing it all into the patio, but then I figured the wind would just twist it instead and scrapped that idea. I started searching for other solutions and I found this. It's fantastic and the perfect solution to my issues. It was easy to put up and I used the bungies that came with it plus some zip ties. I will take it down at the end of the season so I'll have to sacrifice the zip ties, but no big deal. It lets the wind through enough to not be dangerous and keep me up at night, and shades just as well as the old canopy.It looks nice too! I was pleasantly surprised about how much I like the look of it. In fact, I like the look of this more than the canopy that came with the pergola because it actually matches the metal better (the pergola is a dark bronze color). I am super happy with this purchase and I highly recommend this canopy!

This shade cloth is amazing! It has survived 5 years of Arizona sun, monsoon rains, and occasional hurricane force winds. We have replaced the tie downs several times, but the cloth just keeps on going. Highly recommended. Honestly, this is probably more durable than the ragtop on a Jeep.
