Great buds at a great price!
I'm normally an all Apple guy. I have AirPods Pro 2, but sometimes Apple's system of connecting to new devices bothers me. For that reason I keep a separate set of buds for Android devices, my Nintendo Switch, and work calls. After seeing a lot of positive reviews on these I decided to upgrade from my CMF Buds (1st generation). For this review I'll be comparing these to the AirPods Pro 2 that cost about four times as much. The sound quality on these is quite good. The bass is a little more boom-y relative to the AirPods, which some people might enjoy. The important thing is that I could really only tell that there was a difference when I was doing back and forth comparisons. They are a clear upgrade if you're on the CMF Buds 1st generation. If you're listening to a good song, you're going to be happy with the audio quality. The noise cancelling is good, but again not as good as the AirPods. I felt a little more of that active noise cancelling "Pressure" on these. Still, they did a great job of cancelling out the noise of my window AC units. The ANC is effective thanks to a very good fit in my ears. The battery life seems good and with the charging case I have no worries that I'll be without headphones.I am amazed at how far wireless headphones have come in the past few years. I would say they are 80% as good at the AirPods Pro 2 at 25% of the price.

Blows the Samsungs away.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Ironically I'm a huge audiophile, in fact you can see my review for the Kef R3 Meta and S3 stands I just bought here on Amazon, but I don't like spending a lot on earbuds because they are easy to lose or get lost for you. I bought the lowest tier $60 ish Samsungs a few months ago, and soundwise they are good enough, but some features don't work, and they have poor power management. In other words the Cardo Packtalk system on my motorcycle helmet barely causes my S25Ultra to burn any power. But the Samsungs apparently have a super cheap method of transmission that is hard on the phone and I have to keep my phone on a charger to listen to music, which is crazy. I finally figured out it was the earbuds. I bought these CMF and they do have excellent power management and barely cause my phone to drop at all. On top of that for basically the same price as the Samsungs EVERYTHING is better with these. Everything works and everything is absolutely top notch. And they sound awesome! The bass was a super fun surprise and I love the EQ for mids and treble. Are these as good as a real hifi with great electronics and dual subs? Not anywhere close lmao, but for earbuds these are excellent.

Wonderful earbuds with unfortunately too many issues
Edit: So the ANC has been turning off and on when outside and for some reason my audio straight up stopped working until I put them back into the case and removed them. Knocking a star off for these issues. Will be receiving a replacement (unfortunately taking a week for that). Will update once again when I get them.Edit 5/30/2025: So I got a replacement and had the same issues. ANC stops randomly, music stops if they slip just slightly off my ears on a warm day and touch controls can be finicky. Sometimes when using one earbud the other won't reconnect properly. I learned I can just go to my bluetooth settings and reconnect them instead of putting them into the case and removing them but this is something I shouldn't need to do. The earbuds slipping out is likely due to a bad seal and the included tips don't provide much of one. I tried 3rd party tips but the nozzle on these is very wide and the usual 3rd party tips I use do not fit without tearing. I really wanted to like these but they have too many issues, which seem to be hardware and software. I don't appreciate being a beta tester. They're wonderful outside of these issues but these are things I cannot overlook.Original review:Alright, let's start this off by noting that these punch heavily about their price point. I'd go as far as to say there's no reason to buy anything else in the wireless IEM market at this price point and higher, unless you have an iPhone or Samsung phone and want their device specific features.I have not used these long enough to judge battery life but I'll update this review once I have.Pros:- audio is GREAT. The personal sound profile is a MUST. It really elevates the audio to another level. Spatial sound really opens up the soundstage and improves the audio quality as well. I'm currently using these with the EQ set to custom and everything untouched at 0. The personal profile IS my EQ.- ANC works very very well. It cancels out the majority of noise around me and isn't making my ears feel a ton of pressure.- earbud fit in my ear is wonderful. I'm using the medium eartips. Probably helps that they copied the airpod design, which is known to be comfortable. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right? There is also a feature in the app that helps determine how well they fit your ear. They don't feel like they're going to fall out and they aren't making my ears hurt after x amount of time.Cons:- the case has a little fidget disc that on their other earbuds, actually functions as a volume knob. Disappointing it's on the case for these but does nothing.- case gripe again, it's a square. A rectangular shape would be better.- without the audio enhancements turned on (spatial sound mainly) audio sounds pretty meh.- slight gripe but COLOURS. Only blue and white available here on Amazon? I went with blue because I do not want them mistaken for airpods. Manufacturers need to not be afraid of colour variety on their products.

CMF Buds 2 Plus - Good Buds but transparency mode is false advertising
CMF Buds 2 Plus. Good audio quality and good app. I like these earbuds. One thing that is false advertising is the so called transparency mode. The mode exists in the app but does nothing. You will can't hear any of your surroundings in the so called transparency mode. The ANC and Transparency modes are exactly the same on my CMF Buds 2 Plus earbuds.
