Perfect client monitor for commercial photography
Fantastic color accurate field monitor great for professional photographers. I am a professional photographer and digitech and this has been a great monitor for client viewing on location as well as a great second monitor when working remotely on just your laptop. Great one cable solution if you are using usbC/thunderbolt 3 or 4. Stunning color accuracy and being 1080p is actually a big asset in the field as it is far less taxing on your laptop's GPU. Resulting is faster rendering of preview images. One of my favorite features is the 1/4 20 socket on the bottom. Perfect for mounting on a tripod, light stand or magic arm. My only complaints are no sunsheild/glare gard, but you can make or buy one. However, as it has a really good matte screen glare is not much of an issue. It's really just brightness in direct sun, which really you can still see it, it just would be better with a sun shield. My only other complaint is that the touch screen only functions on a pc. No touch support for Mac. I suspect this is mostly to due with apple not Asus but I'm not sure. It would be great to have touch support for Mac and also camera but i suspect that's impossible. That brings me to the last really cool thing, you can plug it directly into the camera's hdmi out to get a live view while shooting stills or video to card. And it works great with one exception... It only supports 8 bit HDMI which means if you use it as a video monitor directly attached to the camera you can't shoot in 10 bit only 8bit at least with my cameras. That hurts. In conclusion you won't find a more color accurate field monitor with a 1/4 20 thread mount for this price. I have 3 Asus pro art monitors that run my business. A 4k 32" a 2k 24" and now this 1080p 14" I 100% trust the color accuracy and brightness of these monitors and I stake my reputation and business on them everyday.

Art monitor for art purposes (complimentary)
This is a beautiful display in a fairly uncommon aspect ratio. I've liked it immensely and have had no issues with it. If you want a color accurate display that can hold a little more in its margins, it's a good option. As it is a monitor, do not use it for sound output. The on-board speaker is weak (as you might expect). I'm not even sure why it has speakers to begin with. The screen is fairly adjustable, though, if that's something you'd like to know. It's very sturdy. It's good for making art (especially visual art). Amazon has suggested that I discuss its gaming potential. It is not a gaming monitor. It will, of course, show you anything you choose to display, but you could probably do better if gaming is your interest. Still, despite Amazon's strange suggestion, I feel comfortable recommending this easily. It's a great monitor!

Amazing Monitor
I normally don't write reviews but I don't see any on this here or even on YouTube so I thought I would do it to help anyone else looking at this. I can't believe I spent $1,000 on a 24" monitor but I am so glad I did. I bought it used- very good condition and it looks brand new and came in factory packaging. I have owned so many high-quality monitors like the Apple Studio Display, iMacs, high end 4k LG monitors and I just have never been able to find the right one for me. It has been exhausting and discouraging actually. I use a Legacy design program and its impossible for me to find good picture quality because my program only correctly scales correctly at 100% or 200% and this natively scales at 200% (windows recommended scaling). I loved my Studio display but its glossy, and I use windows so I could not change the brightness without hooking up a mac to it. This monitor is so crystal clear sharp, non-reflective, and what is really interesting is that this feels like a higher refresh rate than 60hz. My Razor Blade 16 is 120hz and this feels really buttery smooth. The colors are fantastic...I know about all of the color accuracy stuff that it is supposed to have but I am not that technical, but I can say all the colors look great, the blacks are so darn black, and it is just a great experience. I think if I had to change anything, I would maybe want it to get a LITTLE bit brighter, but I am happy with it. If you are on the fence with this monitor and its specs are what you are looking for, I can promise you that you will probably be really happy with it!

Great Monitor For my artwork and photography!
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely a great monitor for the creative types of art, illustration and design! Though i purchased this for use with an Ipad pro 13, i cannot get full screen ( side bars), so far i have not found a solution for this issue. With that said, i am very satisfied with the picture quality and really appreciate the factory color calibration. For creating art and spending $$ on large prints, it is essential that “what I see, is What i get”! With 100% of both sRGB and Rec.709 plus Asus exclusive features like ProArt Palette with six-axis color, black-level and brightness adjustments, PA248QV makes it easy to achieve the exact look you desire quickly, easily and precise. Though on the lower end of the ProArt monitor offerings , the vivid colors and clarity are outstanding for the price point of this monitor .I am very impressed and satisfied for what I use it for!If you’re just getting started in digital art and or photography, ( even if you’re a “seasoned “ artist) you simply can’t go wrong selecting this monitor!

Works perfectly for my needs; great price
I bought this ASUS ProArt to replace a 10+-year-old Dell monitor I was using as a secondary. My primary monitor is a 5-year-old Dell Ultrasharp 2415. I didn't buy another Ultrasharp because they cost about $150 more than this ASUS. It turns out I still like the Dell a bit more; it is actually as "ultrasharp" as the name implies. But after fiddling with custom settings for the ASUS, I have it working very well. It is bright and vivid. Movies look great. Crystal clear for Excel work. Setup was very easy, even though I ended up fiddling with the display settings. I like it, and the pricing makes it a value.
