Absolutely amazing
Install was easy, took me maybe 2-3 minutes total as I was cautious not to strip or break any thing ! Booted up and was immediately prompted with the format message and after that I was able to download more ps5 games 😌. The design is actually really nice quality, feels solid and has some nice weight to it ! Functions as stated at a speed of 6900 is what the format screen said so I was pleased with that ✍🏽. Highly worth investing in if you have a ps5 with only one TB of storage.

Yep, really fast -- and lightning fast if you have Thunderbolt 5
Wow this is a fast SSD drive -- and I'm only using it over a 40Gbps Thunderbolt 4 connection cuz that's what my MacBook Pro has. I bought the heatsink version which doesn't fit into most enclosures, so I ended up buying an AMZPilot 40Gbps dock stand here on Amazon.com and it's super-easy to plug this NVMe into the dock (or remove it). BlackMagic gives consistent 30Gbps (or 3000MBps = 3GBps) speeds for all five test file sizes (1GB - 5GB). And when I backed up 300GB of files (mix of videos, images and documents) from my iCloud, it took just about 100 seconds. That's pretty fast already! When I have enough dough to upgrade to the M4 MacBook Pro I'll be able to go near the drive's limit of 7400MBps (that's 74Gbps) over Thunderbolt 5 -- assuming I can afford to buy a NVMe dock for it. :)The NVMe does tend to run hot, so having the built-in heatsink turns out to be a nice choice for me, although I also run a small desktop fan (Koonie) to ensure the Lexar and the stand both stay cool.

Easy PS5 storage upgrade.
Works great. Install was less than 5 minutes. YT video was clutch. Happy to not have to play the "what game should I delete so my son can install his latest COD update".

Solid Solid State Drive
Added it to my 2021 Legion 7i Pro. Just want to say the laptop only supports PCIe Gen 3 so I am only getting half the speeds but it will mostly be used to store games. But the other features of this SSD makes it worthwhile over cheaper budget ones. Hope this info helps someone.

CALIDAD PRECIO

A nice upgrade
This was an upgrade from the 2 TB model of the exact same brand, so I already knew it was a good, reliable drive.Speed and capacity are as advertised, and the 2 TB model still had a health of 100% after 3 full years of gaming with it.I expect the same from the 4 TB model.

NEEDS HEATSINK
as a PC guru who uses a $300 (i5, 12th gen) mini PC nowadays...globbed thermal glue all over the controller area and dropped a heatsink on it. also put one on each of the memory chips. didn't want to wait, so plugged it into the slot and left my little PC upside down for it to dry while in use... (lol, don't try that at home)while drying, I ran The Test over and over again (just the first write test). after about 4 iterations, the speed dropped, maybe to do with overheating. don't know whether that happens now the glue is 100% dry
