It certainly functions as a pop filter. Though I find that some of the images depicting its use here shows it being attached from an under-the-arm position. Fitting it like this, I've found it's much too heavy to stay in place in front of my mic, and only really works in an over position. It doesn't sit very rigidly and I find myself adjusting it often.

The Aokeo B-8 Pop Filter purchased.This item fitted perfect on my Veetop USB Microphone.The sound output resulted with a sharper quality and clearer. Definitely recommended!

This pop filter provides clarity when using diaphragm mic however the screw attachment and arm are quite fiddly which makes getting it into the right position. For the price it is a good buy however it would be superb with a more responsive arm

This is the only pop filter I've owned so have nothing to compare it to.But if you want to save 50 quid or so get a white marker and write R*DE on it and I doubt anyone could tell the difference.Oh, and it works fine too.
